This sweet couple have a special place in my heart and I am so excited to be sharing their special day with you! Caleb was my next door neighbor from when I was two years old until he moved away for college. He was a second big brother to me and I grew up looking up to Caleb. When I found out he had met a girl at Virginia Tech, I couldn’t wait to meet her. I first met Lindsey at Caleb’s older sisters wedding in August of 2017 and we hit it off on the very first day! 2 years down the road, I get a text with pictures of Caleb down on one knee! As more time went on I started talking with Lindsey about her plans for the wedding, brainstorming venues, vendors, and all her perfect ideas! We met up for their engagement pictures and then got to start with the detailed wedding planning. These two are so very special to me and I can’t wait for you to see a bigger look into their beautiful wedding day!
Caleb & Lindsey’s wedding day was a dreary, winter Saturday complete with rain and a little bit of snow! Their details showed off the beautiful winter accents they used.
This might have been one of the largest bridal party’s I had ever shot, but goodness do these people love Caleb & Lindsey! They were all so involved with the day and you could tell they were just happy to be there with them on their day.
Caleb & Lindsey’s ceremony was in the War Memorial Chapel at Virginia Tech, it was raining outside and such a dreary day, which made it perfect for their inside ceremony. They had Lindsey’s dad marry them, and I know they will cherish that forever.
Caleb & Lindsey agreed to do their first look the day before their wedding, since the weather didn’t look promising for the day of their wedding! This isn’t the “norm” but it worked so well for this sweet couple! We had way more time than we normally would just one on one for pictures of just the two of them. We went all around Virginia Tech’s campus, including the War Memorial Chapel, the Hahn Horticultural Gardens, Heritage Park, as well as the Art Center!
Caleb & Lindsey’s reception was made complete with cakes from Shydigz and an awesome DJ with EZ Entertainment. The reception was a total party and I know everyone there had a blast. From Caleb’s extravagant garter toss (See below), to the sweetest first dances, the night was one to remember.
